Phone issues
January 9th, 2012 by asu
We apologize for the long hold times, dropped calls and automated system not picking up your calls. We understand your frustration.
After months of discussion and implementations of suggested solutions offered by the phone company, the phone line service provider, phone system hardware company and phone system software company, we have decided that the system is not fixable. We have purchased a new phone system, but it will take up to 45 days to implement (mid to late February).
In the interim, please request an appointment by clicking the tab on the top right of the main page if you would like to schedule a non-urgent (can wait 2 or more weekdays before seeing a physician) appointment. If you are unable to get through on the phones, you may use this system to leave a message for your physician as well (understanding that messages may take up to 36 hours for someone to reply to you if you use this system). We appreciate your understanding during this frustrating time.
IT IS FLU SHOT SEASON
September 13th, 2011 by asu
It is time to get your annual flu shot! We can help you get this in many ways.
1) We’ll be glad to give you your flu shot when you see your physician in the office.
2) You can come to the shot rooms at our main location from 8:30-11:30 or 2:00-4:00 Monday through Friday. You can also come to our Katy location from 8:30-11:30 or 2:00-4:00 Monday through Friday.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that EVERYONE should get a flu shot. We are currently not providing the high dose vaccine for seniors as this has not been a recommendation by the CDC. We will have the intranasal vaccination available which is only indicated in people ages 4-49 without any respiratory or cardiovascular diseases. Most insurances pay for this vaccine, though we won’t be able to verify whether your particular one does. If you decide to pay cash, we offer them for $32 per vaccine (the intranasal vaccine is $40).
