Dr. Fields is the founder of Village Family Practice. He was born in Scotland and received his medical training at Glascow University. He established Village Family Practice in 1975, and has been Board Certified in Family Practice in Great Britain, Canada and the United States. He has additional training and certification in Addiction Medicine. His main focus of practice is now Research Medicine involving all facets of Family Practice.
He has been married to his wife, Sandra, for more than 45 years and they have three children, including his eldest son Clive who followed him into practice. He also has ten grandchildren. He is an avid golfer and has played golf all over the world.
