Sandi Lemming was born in Connecticut and moved to Dallas, Texas in junior high. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in microbiology, went on to graduate from the University of Texas Health Science Center with a medical technology degree, and finished her MBA in Finance from the University of North Texas. Her husband's job opportunities brought her and her family to northern California for 8 years where she enjoyed being a busy stay at home mom to her 3 boys. After a transfer to Houston, she decided to pursue a long-held dream of attending medical school and graduated from Baylor College of Medicine. She went on to family practice residency at Memorial Family Practice where she served as chief resident for her final year.
The Lemmings have spent the last few years as spirit boosters for Strake Jesuit where their boys went to high school. They now cheer for the University of North Carolina football team where their son, Ben, plays right guard and for West Point Army football where their son, Mike, plays left tackle. Son Chris attends Boston College and sings in the University Chorale. Sandi married her high school sweetheart Jim, a homebuilder. They enjoy wine tasting, traveling, music, and college football. She is board certified in Family practice and is particularly interested in female adolescent and women's health.
