FLU SHOT SEASON IS HERE
- It is time for flu shots! We have the flu vaccination (either through the shot or the nasal spray) available. This year, the H1N1 vaccine is combined with the seasonal flu vaccine. We do NOT have the high dose flu vaccine for seniors. We are awaiting the recommendation by the ACIP before we will give this vaccine. We will begin giving flu vaccine starting September 1, 2010. Please arrange to have this done by: 1) Getting it when you see your physician, or 2) Coming to the office and signing in at the front desk between the hours of 8:30-11:30 or 2:00-4:00. Most insurances pay for the flu vaccine. If you are paying cash, the cost for the shot is $32 (the nasal spray is more).
